Single Trust Plan

What It Does

  • Establishes a revocable living trust to manage and distribute your assets.

  • Includes a pour-over will to catch anything left outside the trust.

  • Adds a certification of trust to use with banks and institutions.

  • Includes a trust funding directive to help you retitle assets.

  • Appoints a trustee to manage your trust if you can’t or don’t want to.

What It Doesn’t Do

  • It doesn’t automatically fund the trust—you still need to move assets into it.

  • It doesn’t replace your powers of attorney or medical directive.

  • It doesn’t override beneficiaries listed on things like life insurance or IRAs.

Who Needs to Sign

  • You (the grantor).

  • Your trustee(s).

  • Notarization is required.
