Single Estate Plan

What It Does

  • Gives you a Last Will and Testament to name who gets what and who’s in charge.

  • Provides a Medical Power of Attorney so someone you trust can make health decisions if you can’t.

  • Provides a Financial Power of Attorney so someone can pay bills or manage your money if you’re unable.

  • Includes a HIPAA Authorization so your people can talk to your doctors.

  • Covers a Medical Directive so your end-of-life care is spelled out.

  • Includes a Lady Bird Deed to keep your house out of probate and still under your control.

What It Doesn’t Do

  • It doesn’t avoid probate entirely—your will still goes through court.

  • It doesn’t control assets that already have named beneficiaries (like life insurance or retirement accounts).

  • It doesn’t cover what happens to your money while you're alive. That’s what a trust is for.

Who Needs to Sign

  • You.

  • Some docs require witnesses and/or notarization. I’ll tell you which and when.
